अतो विमुक्तयै प्रयतेत विद्वान् |
संन्यस्तबाह्यार्थसुखस्पृह: सन् |
संत महान्त समुपेत्य देशिकं
तेनापदिष्टार्थसमाहितात्मा || ८ || विवेकचूडामणि
Ato vikultayai praytet vidwan
Sannyastbahyarth sukhspruhah san
Sant mahant samupetya deshikam
Tenapadishtarthsamahitaatmaa – vivekchudamani
Therefore the learned should who is yearning for liberation who after renouncing all the desires for external worldly pleasure, should seek the patronage of a Guru and imbibe His teaching and make sincere efforts for self realization.
