अष्टादश पुराणानि धर्मशास्त्राणि सर्वश: ।
वेदा: साङ्गास्तमथैकत्र भारतं चैकत: स्थितम् ।।
Meaning: The eighteen Purans, all the scriptures (Smrutis) and the Vedas, with their parts are on one side and Bharat (ancient India) on the other. (Such is the potential of Bharat).
