If we go to a doctor and the doctor prescribes the same medicine to all the people suffering from differing ailments, no patient will ever go to that doctor again. We too are plagued by the disease of vicious cycles of birth and death and to get out of it quickly, it is important to tread a appropriate path of Sadhana.
During sectarian Sadhana (spiritual practice), the same type of Sadhana is recommended to everyone. As a result, spiritual progress is negligible and due to sectarian Sadhana, the narrow mentality of “my Guru is the best, my sect is the most superior one and my deity is the superior of all” gets inbuilt among the seekers which proves to be detrimental for spiritual progress !
